I did a wine and cheese pairing and paired the Epoisses with Gewurztraminer - outrageously delicious. Couldn't be a more perfect match.Amandahttp://www.grapesandgreens.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4880297839966633442.post-3166090664919875262010-11-11T18:25:33.858-08:002010-11-11T18:25:33.858-08:00Deb, the Époisses with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale was ...Deb, the Époisses with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale was an unexpectedly amazing pairing. Forgot to mention it at the time (too excited watching the horseys), but this seems like a good forum to say it now. Do drink pale ale with stinky cheese!Leenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4880297839966633442.post-21134828134237263222010-11-11T13:53:22.886-08:002010-11-11T13:53:22.886-08:00I am trying to think of something dramatic to do w...I am trying to think of something dramatic to do with the cauliflower. Either way, I would stick with a wine that is not too big or powerful, as that would be too overwhelming. I have been cooking on Sundays lately. I cook something that I can eat all week. I think this just might be this Sunday's project. And who knows - with any luck I might get the kids to try it!Amandahttp://www.grapesandgreens.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4880297839966633442.post-82966905514017234562010-11-09T15:31:23.542-08:002010-11-09T15:31:23.542-08:00Yes, absolutely stuff the onions and fennel. I see that was not clear in the recipe, thanks for pointing it out. <br />If we were to continue the French theme from dinner to the wine, which French wine would you recommend Amanda?Deborahhttp://grapesandgreens.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
